Master the Edamame Circuit Before FH6 and U4N Season Changes

Saving FH6 Credits for the right upgrades can make seasonal events much easier, but the Edamame Time Attack shows why tuning decisions matter more than simply increasing power. The circuit is located inside Horizon Stadium and features a compact counter-clockwise layout. Because the straights are short and the corners arrive quickly, a lightweight D-Class car with strong grip is usually the better choice.

The event is part of the Series 4 “Mascot Party” rotation, so players should make use of it while it is available. FH6 Credits can help with upgrades, but you do not need an expensive build to beat the 48.000-second target. With a suitable car and a clean flying lap, experienced players can push well into the low 40s.

Turn the First Lap Into Practice

The opening lap is not ideal for setting a record because the car begins from a standstill. On a short circuit, losing acceleration at the beginning can make the entire attempt slower.

Use that first lap differently. Focus on learning the track, checking where the corners tighten, and finding comfortable braking points. Once you return to the gantry, use your momentum to start the next lap at much higher speed.

This is one of the simplest improvements available because it does not require changing the car at all. You are simply making better use of the circuit's layout.

Build a D-Class Grip Machine

Edamame rewards cars that respond quickly to steering inputs. More horsepower may look attractive, but it can make the car harder to control and does not provide enough room to recover the lost time.

The 1993 Autozam AZ-1 is a strong candidate for a PI 500 setup. A handling-focused tune can bring lap times toward the 40-second range. Players looking for a community setup can try tune code 132 289 945.

The 1991 Honda Beat is also worth considering. Its lightweight design works nicely for a grip-oriented D-Class build, with clean runs around 43 seconds being achievable.

Focus your upgrades on tire grip, wider tires, weight reduction, and a race differential. The objective is to maintain momentum rather than chase the highest possible speed.

Improve the Racing Line

Because Edamame runs counter-clockwise, the left-hand corners are especially important. Try to use later apexes and avoid rushing the turn-in.

The barriers sit close to the racing surface, making them useful visual references but dangerous obstacles. You want to get close enough to use the available track without actually touching the wall.

A clean lap is essential if you want to improve your leaderboard result. One aggressive corner that ends in contact can erase the benefit gained from several good sections.

Find Time Through Small Changes

Once you can complete clean laps consistently, look for individual sections where you are losing time.

If you are slowing down too early, move your braking point gradually. If you are getting back on the throttle late, concentrate on your corner exit. If the car feels unstable, consider whether your tune is giving you enough grip.

Avoid making several major adjustments at the same time. Small changes make it easier to understand what is helping and eventually produce a setup that feels natural to drive.

Collect the Extra XP

While exploring the stadium, look for the hidden 5,000 XP Board in the parking area inside the structure. It is separate from the Time Attack objective but provides a useful bonus toward festival progression.

It makes sense to collect it during one of your early runs rather than interrupting a serious leaderboard attempt. Once you know where it is, you can leave it alone and focus on your lap times.

Push Beyond the Seasonal Target

The basic goal is to beat 48.000 seconds for 1 Wheelspin and 3 Forzathon Points. A first clean lap also unlocks the temporary Edamame Time Attack Badge, while the Convoy Leaderboard at the gantry provides a convenient way to compare your result with other players.

Players who want to expand their reward options can also consider buy Forza Horizon 6 Super Wheelspins through external game-item services, but the Edamame challenge itself does not require that kind of shortcut. A good D-Class car, a flying start, and a consistent racing line are enough to make a major improvement before the Series 4 rotation ends.
